On February 10, 2021 my other blog www.the-spiritualawakening.com went down after a word press update. I was upset and tried to recover it however it is still showing just an index page. I reached out to my host company and they are working on fixing it. I was fortunate to have this blog as a back up to share with you the importance of having a back up plan. In today’s challenging market fraught with many obstacles it is imperative to have a back up plan.
If 2020 taught us anything it is to be prepared with several plans so that we can overcome anything that comes our way. Imagine if you would have seen the pandemic coming and impending shutdowns how you could have adjusted and overcome them. In March of 2020 I was furloughed from my Job at Macy’s where I was selling mattresses and furniture. In June of 2020 I was told I would not be invited back due to Covid-19 affecting sales. I was upset however I knew I had a talent with my voice so I began to offer voice overs as a service and also started to reach out to people about doing other voice related work like voice mail messages. In having aback up plan I was able to generate some income and stay afloat. The key is to make sure that you have a back up plan.
